Eric is a Principal on the Direct Credit team at Hamilton Lane where he focuses on solutions for insurance companies.Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2024, Eric was Head of Investment Product Consulting at MassMutual where he was responsible for the investment aspects of their Institutional Insurance business. Preceding MassMutual, Eric was an Assistant Vice President at State Street Global Advisors in insurance business development. Eric began his career at River and Mercantile Solutions where he worked in various capacities as an investment consultant, senior analyst, head trader, and portfolio manager focusing on asset / liability management for financial sponsors.
Eric received a B.S. in Business Administration from Babson College. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation, the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation and the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation. Eric is a member of the CFA Institute, CFA Society Boston, CAIA Association and serves as Finance Committee Chair on Board of Directors of the Children’s Trust of Massachusetts as well as the Board of Trustees of Old Colony Montessori School.
