Managing Director, Client Solutions
Russell Simon is a Managing Director on the Client Solutions team, based in the firm’s San Francisco office where he is responsible for leading business development, client servicing, and relationship management efforts in the western U.S.Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2025, Russell was a Managing Director with CF Private Equity, where he managed LP relationships in the western U.S., Canada and Japan. Before joining CFPE, Russell spent eight years at Allianz Global Investors, where he was a Senior Vice President responsible for business development in the western U.S. and Taft-Hartley channel.
Russell received a BSBA in Marketing and International Business from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a CAIA charter holder and member of the CAIA, Bay Area Chapter.
